delete your account

this is how to delete your account for the daily press., the app by the daily press cafe on google play and the app store. you can do it right here, in the app, or by email, at any time. no account is needed to read this page.

checking whether you’re signed in…

in the app

  1. open the daily press app and sign in.
  2. go to the account tab and tap “delete account”.
  3. type DELETE to confirm, enter your password, and tap delete.

by email

send an email to support@dailypresscafe.comfrom the email address on your account, with the subject “delete my account”. replying from that address is how we confirm it’s you. we delete the account within 30 days and email you when it’s done.

what happens to your data

  • your name, email, phone, birthday, password and push tokens are removed from the account right away.
  • order records are kept for seven years for tax and bookkeeping, without your name, contact details or address attached.
  • press points and unredeemed rewards are forfeited and can’t be restored.
  • you’re signed out on every device.

just want fewer messages?

you don’t have to delete the account for that. turn off news and offers in the app’s account settings, or use the unsubscribe link in any marketing email. for anything else about your data, see the privacy policy.
